As you all know, Atin is helping me with my blog. What didya think of the post? Isn't it amazing? anyway, this is the second post about Christmas. Christmas is a time to spend time with your family, have fun with friends, drink eggnog, and give to the lest fortunate. Christmas is also a great time to go on vacations since children all ages have a 3 week break. But the real reason why we celebrate that we celebrate Christmas is because it is Jesus' birthday. Imagine this, Jesus is the son of God, who was sent down to Earth. Jesus decided to become a human kid who had no rights in this world. From the top guy, down to a lowly carpenter. Can you believe that? Jesus didn't decide to come into the world like a King, rich, or even well known. He came down as an innocent kid who's father was a carpenter. After 3 1/2 years of teaching after his baptism, he was slain on the torturous cross. The only reason why we can go to heaven, even though we sin is because his blood has washed away the sin. The blood that Jesus shed has washed away all our sins. When God see us, he sees us pure because Jesus' blood have washed away
If you are wondering why Atin and my blog post is similar. About Christmas, it is because at Chinese school, we decided to synchronize our topics. He decided that since it was close to Christmas, we would do a week of Christmas topics.
As Atin said, challenge yourself to NOT "X" out the Christ in Christmas, but to keep it there. Remember why Christmas started, and the reason it is here.
