Christmas, Not Xmas

At this time of year, advertisements are everywhere, and we're all rushing to finish our Christmas shopping. We all want that certain something. An Xbox. A laptop. Real estate.

With all this going on, we sometimes forget why we celebrate Christmas. We celebrate this day because this is when we remember Jesus' birth. Why is this that important? Think about it. Jesus was a perfect, all knowing, all powerful God, and He decided to become a human, nothing, nothing at all, compared to what He was as God. Furthermore, He became a human, not to become King over humans or rich and famous or something, I don't know, but to die, executed with the most painful, dreaded death at that time. He died to save us from our sins. US!!!!!

I challenge you, all of you who read this blog, to keep the 'Christ' in Christmas, to remember Him and what he did not just this year, but for the rest of your life.

If you do not know Christ as your Savior, I strongly urge you to visit www.jesus2020.com and email me at atinskirata98@gmail.com.
