Darth Zannah

I've been reading the series, Darth Bane Series.. And I'm sort of hooked on it... This is one of the best trilogy that was ever written. The person whom wrote this is a skilled writer by the name of Drew Karpyshyn. Let me tell you about Mr. Karpyshyn. He is the New York Times bestselling author of Star Wars: Darth Bane: Path of Destruction and Mass Effect: Revelation, as well as several other fantasy and science fiction novels. He is also an awardwinning writter/designer for the computer game company, BioWare, where he was lead writter on Mass Effect and the blockbuster Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic video game. In the book, Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, Mr. Karpyshyn paints a picture of a young man, named Des, and his path to the dark side. Des left his innocence behind and turned to the dark side. Changing his name to Darth Bane, Des, has a twisted genuis whose iron will, fierce ambitions, and strength made him a natural leader among the Sith group. He later found out that the group that he was apart was a cult group. He destroyed the order, creating his own from the ashes of the old order. Because Darth Band was the last surviving Sith, he came up with a new objective, the Rule of Two. "Two Siths there should be; no more, no less. One to embody the power, the other to crave it."
After years of searching the galaxy, Bane is now ready to put his policy into action. He watches a young girl, 10 years of age. One of her only friends, a bouncer named Laa, died by the hands of 2 annonomous Jedi. Unknowingly, Zannah uses the force to snap the neck of the Jedi, who killed her friend. Bane senses the power in Zannah, and aproaches her. Zannah was still next to Laa, her body still warm. When Bane approaches Zannah, she reconized him a Sith Lord. Unfearingly, she offered herself to Bane, wanting to become his apprentice, to study the ways of the dark side. She didn't even hesitate. Although Bane wasn't certain why Zannah was eager to ally herself with a Sith Lord, he took the tween under his wing, and taught her the way of the Sith. 10 years passed since Bane had found a helpless girl on the forest of Ruusan. She had learned the technique of Sith Sorcery. She had met a Twi'lek named Kelad'ad, or Ked for short. He is a Lethan Twi'lek, with red skin. Although Twi'lek complexions came on a wide variety of colors, a red skinned Twi'lek was extremely rare. Like most Lethans, he was gorgeous. He was tall with broad shoulders, a hard, flat stomach, and perfectly proportioned limbs. He usually wore tight fitting black pants and a loose fitting tan tunic that hung open at the front, which exposed the lean muscles of his chest and abdomen. Zannah and Ked fell in love, and became 'lovers'. Ked trusted Zannah to an extend. Zannah's cover story was that she works is an administrative assistant of the Republic embassy. Though it was lie, it had caught Ked's attention immediatly. After Ked had brought her into a meeting, Ked had to stay focus on the mission. This was the last time that they would see each other, because Ked died during the mission. He was battling a Jedi, by the name of Johun. They freefalled, and Ked's neck snapped as they fell into the water. Zannah was taken a prisoner by some of Ked's friends. A Chiss women, by the name of Cyndra. They brought her to the leader of the organization, Hetton. Hetton saw the power in Zannah, and begged her to become his master. Reluctantly, Zannah accepted.. But it was only a trap. Zannah only accepted his pleading because Hetton had something that Zannah and Bane wanted, a certain holocron. Bane later killed Hetton and was about to kill Zannah is she hadn't showed him part of the holocron. The next exciting plot happens in the last book. Zannah is about to face her master on a head to head duel in order to become the master. Zannah technically defeated her master. Bane had learned of essense transfer. His spirit was transfered into Zannah's body. This is pretty much all I can say about Darth Zannah....

To wrap up the topic, Zannah was a young girl whom was brutalized by the Jedi. Her ever growing hatred for the Jedi led to her allying herself to the Sith. She learned to use her anger to provide her with the power to defeat her enemies. Her brute power, which she developed from Bane, causes her to become a powerful Sith lord. This is my report on Darth Zannah, Dark Lord of the Sith
